The Walled Garden Helperby is a charming, intimate and exclusive setting for your garden wedding or event. This historic Grade II listed garden, built in the Edwardian era, is set in a picturesque North Yorkshire village in the grounds of Helperby Hall. The layout is designed to give you the flexibility to create your perfect wedding day.

Discover the expansive four acres of lawns and walkways created with the flexibility for different sized weddings and events and with practical considerations at the heart. The newly-restored Cupola is licenced for wedding ceremonies, whilst the adjoining Gardeners Cottage is a perfect spot for the wedding preparations and overnight accommodation.
CEREMONIES
We are licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies in the beautiful gardens, underneath the stone Cupola and in the buildings surrounding the beautiful gardens.
On arrival the purpose built carpark can accommodate 70 vehicles within the garden. The open expanse of lawns offers plenty of space for tipis and marquees accommodating up to 200 guests for your wedding reception, and with ample room for open air drinks reception and live music entertainment. You could set up lawn games or a fire pit area- the possibilities are endless!
